Is there Phone Link for Mac?
No. Microsoft Phone Link works with Windows PCs only, and so does Samsung Flow. Intel Unison was discontinued in June 2025. If you have an Android phone and a Mac, Macophone does the same kind of everyday job, built only for that pair.

What Macophone does on a Mac
- Notifications
- Your phone's notifications show as Mac banners and in the menu bar. Reply, use their action buttons, or dismiss them on the Mac and they clear on the phone. More about notifications on a Mac.
- Calls
- See who is calling, decline or silence it from the Mac, and place calls from the Mac through your phone. You talk on the phone or your earbuds.
- Photos and files
- Both ways. Tap Send files on the phone and they land in a Macophone folder on the Mac's Desktop, or send a file from the Mac to the phone.
- Folder sync
- Pick one folder on the phone and one on the Mac, and they stay in step both ways. Choose your camera folder and new photos show up on the Mac by themselves. Conflicts are handled and deleted files go to a trash first.
- Clipboard
- Text and images, sent with one tap from the phone or automatically from the Mac if you turn that on.
- Notes and reminders
- Write it on the Mac and get it on the phone as a notification, in the Home list, or both.
- Music, battery and control
- Now Playing and the phone's battery on the Mac, the Mac's battery on the phone, and lock the Mac or run a Shortcut from the phone.
What it does not do
- It does not mirror your phone's screen or run phone apps on the Mac.
- It does not copy your message history. Messages arrive as notifications, and you can reply to them.
- It does not carry the call's audio to the Mac. You talk on the phone or your earbuds.
How the phone and the Mac connect
You pair them once by scanning a code, like any other app, with no USB debugging or developer options. After that they find each other on your Wi-Fi by themselves. Away from home, they can still reach each other over a private network you already run, such as Tailscale or ZeroTier, if you turn on Away access. There is no account, and your data never passes through a Macophone server.
What you need
